CS LEWIS

It all started with images that invaded the mind of British author CS Lewis. Images so strong that Lewis felt compelled to pull them together into a story that was to become one of the best selling children’s books ever! First published over sixty years ago, The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe has thrilled the millions who have read it. Now this magical story comes to life on stage through David Payne’s captivating production. Four children – two brothers and two sisters – enter the enchanted land of Narnia through an old wardrobe in a house where they are staying. Adding to the enchantment is their encounter with animal-like characters that speak like humans. But Narnia has a dark side; it is under the control of an evil witch who knows that her control can only be broken by the arrival of two sons of Adam and two daughters of Eve. That puts the children in grave danger who need rescuing by a legendary lion.

The Lion Tour

Since 1998, David Payne’s production has thrilled audiences – young and old alike – all over the USA. Now, with the addition of a puppet Aslan the Lion (operated by two puppeteers), this production promises to be even more of a spectacle. And the thrills don’t end at the final curtain! After the show and still in full costume the cast meets the audience for autograph signing and photo ops.
